The Tokyo-based ADF Web Magazine recently featured a deep dive into our debut collection, Epoch [I] & [II]. The profile explores how Wedge operates at the vital intersection of design, computation, and material research. It highlights our "Activating Dimensionality" manifesto, focusing on our goal to create a world where high-tech experimentation and sustainability are inseparable.

The feature breaks down the collection into its two core inspirations. Epoch I is described as a study of anatomy and fluid dynamics, featuring chairs like Soleus and Coccyx that respond to muscular and postural logic. In contrast, Epoch II is recognized for its geological and maritime influences, with pieces like the Talus table and Gorgonia stool that evoke landscapes shaped by natural time and pressure.

ADF specifically notes the "handmade feel" of our digital production. By intentionally incorporating the imperfections of LiDAR scans into our 3D-printed sand and metal pieces, we are able to capture what we call the "beauty of instability." For an international audience, this feature positions Wedge as a studio that isn't just making furniture, but is crafting a new, sensorial bridge between the digital and physical realms.
